The hotel is pretty old. I booked two nights here. One was from the Raddison website. They didnā€™t offer any upgrade to the gold members. And their spa opens at 10 am and closes at 7 pm. It is ridiculous as most tourists are out during those hotels. The rubbish bin in the room was very old and dirty. And the restaurant staff ā€œ impliedā€ there was no ā€œ service feeā€ included and we can only pay cash ( in fact they wanted tips). It is not a good choice to stay there at all

All the places are within walking distance: the Grand Bazaar is a two-minute walk away, the Blue Mosque is a 16-minute walk away, and the food at the hotel was excellent! The room was impeccably clean and disinfected.

Certainly! Hereā€™s a more flowing version of your review: --- We stayed here for four nights in December. Our room was clean and in good repair, with a powerful shower, and the overall cleaning service was very good. However, the air-conditioning did not work in the room, and we were baking to the extent that we could not sleep for the first two nights, which is not great when traveling with children as it ruins your holiday. The central air-conditioning is only set to hot in winter, and the radiators are switched on, which led me to search for alternative accommodation on the first night. I asked reception for a fan, which they promptly brought, making the heat more tolerable. On the second day, we were not left three bottles of water; one had likely been drunk by room service due to the room being so hot! On the third day, we weren't left any water in the room, despite it being extremely hot again. The gym had a small indoor pool; we went there once with the kids, who did jump in even though it was very cold (not a heated pool). The hot tub was working but missing a pillow section on one side, and the steam room was out of service. There is a small area where the hotel leaves water and fruit at set times (1 o'clock). It would cost very little to have a tea/coffee station for guests and level up the hospitality. The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful at all times. Conveniently located and great value

We arrived at 08:45 and thought we'd have to wait until the afternoon to check-in. But we were given a room straight away. The reception staff were very helpful, courteous and professional. The room we were given smelt of bad drains so they immediately ordered us an alternative and a complementarity breakfast as the alternative room wasnt going to be ready unti after 11am. This gave us time to walk the 5 minutes to the Grand Bazaar. The alternative room was fine. The breakfast was of high standard and the restaurant staff were very attentive. The only down size was the extortionate prices in the hotel British style pub. Just under Ā£7 for a regular 300cl glass of beer. We purchased the prepaid top up travel cards for the tram and ferry. Take a 20 minute trip via the ferry to the Asian side where prices for food and shopping is more competitive.
