This stunning hotel, beautifully nestled in the heart of Istanbul, offers not only a luxurious ambiance but also an exceptional level of service that made our stay truly unforgettable. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of design, blending modern luxury with historic charm. Our room was absolutely beautiful — spacious, impeccably decorated, and equipped with every modern convenience we could imagine. The attention to detail in the room's design made us feel like we were staying in a refined, yet comfortable, home away from home. What truly set our experience apart was the exceptional staff. A special shoutout goes to Can Ozan, Berke, Barış, Musa, and Noyan. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel like we were part of the family. Whether it was helping with local recommendations, arranging transportation, or simply ensuring we had everything we needed, they consistently exceeded expectations. The location of the hotel is also perfect. It’s ideally situated close to some of the city's best restaurants, vibrant shopping streets, and historical landmarks. We stayed for 5 days. We were put up in a separate building from the main one (about 50m) and up a very steep hill. The first floor accommodation was noisy from the pub across the road. The room was cold even with the air con turned up to 30 degrees and the blankets were not great in keeping warm. It would have been helpful to have additional heaters in the room. The thing that we enjoyed the most was the high pressure shower. Breakfast was reasonable and expected from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I can't wait to return. This hotel thoroughly deserves all the positive reviews which also convinced me to book my stay here. I've never felt so at home before and I travel often. The staff are honestly so fantastic, from the friendly sweet and efficient housekeeping to the polite door staff and reception. The decor is also gorgeous and I love the amenities you are given in your room. So incase you forgot your toothbrush etc, don't worry it's all here. I had an issue with a room and was offered an alternative and in the end changed buildings as the heating wasn't top notch which is something that needs to be looked at i think. The room I ended up in was toasty and perfect! They even surprised me with a complimentary plate of fruits which was a nice surprise because I wasn't upset at all, just needed some warmth lol. I was recovering from a surgery so the nutrients were very welcome. Istanbul in general seems like a welcoming place and I'll love to return and will likely stay here for longer and really get to enjoy the facilities more. I didn't get to visit the roof top but I'm sure I will next time. I think the room service food could also use some improvements in terms of variety to really catch up to how perfect everything is! Looking forward to coming back.

Our stay at DeCamondo Galata Hotel was absolutely incredible! After a medical procedure, this hotel became the perfect place for recovery. The rooftop restaurant, with its stunning views of entire Istanbul, was a true highlight and so convenient to have right at the hotel. The staff, especially Cigdem and Sefa, made us feel so welcome and cared for—thank you for your kindness! The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Beyoğlu, just a short walk to Galata Tower and the waterfront, surrounded by amazing attractions and restaurants. The entire team was friendly, understanding, and made our stay seamless. We are so grateful for this experience and can’t wait to return!

We spent three nights at this hotel & it was outstanding in every way. A perfect location for exploring the heart of Istanbul, from Taskim Square to Galata to the Sultinate everything is walkable. The quality of the hotel is excellent but it truly is the staff which makes it shine The gentleman who checked us in around 6:30 PM Thurs Dec 19 made us feel very welcomed and offered us a choice of rooms. I'm sorry I didn't catch his name. Tarik showed us our room options and took care of our luggage, always greeted us with a great smile. In the fabulous breakfast room all the staff was wonderful, especially the lovely lady Çiçek (sp?) always checking on the quality of service & our experience (breakfast is outstanding go early for a sunrise view) really made our stay special. Our room was perfectly quiet, 5th floor with a super bathroom (hot water instantly!) Super comfortable bed, nice amenities and, as noted above, an ideal location. Even housekeeping shone with smiles and pampering! We enjoyed their sax wine bar and appreciated them booking our taxi for our departure at a fair rate. Really a great experience!

Really nice, quaint property with beautiful furnishings and fabulous roof deck! Staff were great, they have an excellent setup for food and beverages. Location for access to walking in Istanbul is outstanding. Be prepared for hills! But the views are worth it!

Best bed ever!!

Outstanding location in Istanbul. Close to metro and DT by walking, yet far enough to be a bit quieter and comfortable. Bed was amazingly comfortable!

What a find! Charming boutique hotel with modern upgraded rooms, on a quaint cobblestone street, well tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city but a few minutes to Galata Tower area and Karakoy. Attentive staff, who are super friendly and accommodating. And can't beat the location, next to many dining options and shops, and convenient transportation at your door step. Lovely breakfast served on the rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the Bosphorus. Highly recommend. I would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous hotel with beautiful and comfortable rooms. The staff were the most customer service focused individuals I have ever encountered. While the rooftop restaurant was not actually at this location, and was a little walk up a hill, it was worth it for the view and delicious food. They did have full room service as well. I would stay here again and again.

Central location to historical and new Istanbul town. Conveniently located -10mins walk to catch the ferry to Asian side of Istanbul. Great staff, was given an upgraded room being bigger but noisier for 2 reasons. It was on floor 1 facing the busy street and open street cafes and as it was just above the entrance lounge and close to the elevator. The security latch on the door was broken, it did look ans if it had been broken into with the marks on the door trim ? and if I was travelling alone I would have requested another room. In our travelling group the other rooms were secure and no issues.
