The dilapidated room looked like a movie scene from the Bottom TV program. Firstly the very tired and literally held together with string approach was too much. The paint is mismatched in the room. The blinds dont cover the windows, the toilet area had en-grimed filth at the base. The shower rail was not attached to its own fixing and some terrible makeshift thing held it to the ceiling. Over the decades there are still bits of shower attachments spread around the wall not in use and on the theme of this screw holes scattered around the walls like bullet holes.
Breakfast was a let down with a single sausage, bacon, egg no heat and not enjoyable...
The inconsiderate guests were up at 12am- 5am holding court loudly on their phones, banging around on the doors and generally scaring my 7 year old child who didnt understand why people could be so loud.
Reception were informed by phone but failed to address the concerns.
Dont stay here if you want a to stay in or around rochdale with any sense of what standards are.
