Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was basic but very clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced including an excellent breakfast. We had a very good stay.

The Red Lion
The Red Lion is a beautiful pub. Everything about our stay was delightful. The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. The only downside is the car park is very full at lunchtime and evening dinner, a testament to the lovely food they serve I guess, also there is nowhere to sit other than on stools at the bar if you just want a drink. We would have no hesitation staying here again.

A teapot in the room says it all! Attention to detail and staff friendliness made my stay really enjoyable. Food awesome. Reasonable charges. On 480 bus route that goes to Bolton and Bury. Great dog walks: Holcombe hill and Peel tower and the Jumbles. We had a good time! Thank you
