Great little fully stocked cabin for a good price (compared to rest of Canmore/Banff region). It looks a little dated but everything was clean and everything worked.

This cabin had rustic charm and all the amenities we needed but could use a few updates. The only issue we had was that it obviously had people who smoked in it. As soon as we opened the door, it smelled like stale smoke and even after we reurned home from our trip, the clothes we wore in the cabin smelled the same. We even tried opening windows to air it out. As non-smokers ourselves, this was very disappointing as otherwise the staff was very helpful and the accommodations adequate.

Absolutely disgusting place, had a sleepless night, as soon as you lay down on the bed the body starts itching and everything stinks. Would never recommend. Total waste of money😒

I absolutely loved everything about the place and my chalet. I would probably only say the shower could have been a bit more adjustable or lower as I’m not not so tall and the water was mostly directed towards the wall. Besides that, I can’t wait to be back again!

This place look like it was an entity once, probably 10 to 20 years ago. It needs a facelift. Some paint, probably some ceiling fans and the bathrooms could use some help. It wasn't worth what I paid and I stayed five days

The price is right compared to Banff and Canmore but the cabins are EXTREMELY basic. The double bed barely fit into the bedroom, I had to climb OVER my wife to get into bed, my side was right against the wall so there was nowhere to put my glasses, phone or watch beside the bed. Convenient location but very, very basic accommodation.

Don’t set your expectations too high.

The owners were very pleasant. They told me to make sure I called them if I needed anything. When I checked out I was asked for any negative feedback on my stay, which I thought was a good way to improve customer experiences. The biggest negative for me was my cabin smelled like it had previously been smoked in. The shower is tiny and the bedrooms can barely accommodate a bed. Also the cabins are old and in need of paint and TLC. However, the cabin area is quiet and is a nice place to relax and priced better than most others. As long as your expectations are not too high, you should enjoy this place.

We only stayed one night but we enjoyed our cabin which was spacious and comfortable and included a complete kitchen which would definitely be useful for longer stays. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s cottage.
