Went to visit a child at Binghamton. It was close to the city, in a beautiful, quiet location. It was a bit less expensive than hotels closer to the university and from experience, quite a bit nicer.

The location is great, but the hotel staff was rude. The breakfast is uneatable, frozen bagels, etc. We couldn't sleep in our room because of the noise they did not give us another so we left after one night.

A real gem! A throwback to yesteryear.

Had to book this last minute and there was not much available in my price range. This hotel turned out to be a real gem. The facilities are older but have been upgraded significantly. You get a real "bed and breakfast" feel but with a crisp, clean and fresh presentation. The breakfast was delicious. Hotel sits on a sprawling campus so it is not a "city" hotel.

Poor service from reception on day of check in, bad attitude. Room was very hot, windows did not open, fire dud not switch off and air conditioning did not work. It was 32 degrees outside. Breakfast was disgraceful. Grounds of hotel were very pretty.
