This is an excellent place to stay for a short visit to Halifax. It is close to all tourist sites (we walked or cycled everywhere), parking is free and the rooms are roomy with lots of storage space to unpack your bags. Laundry facilities were a welcome surprise.

We didn’t know what to expect when staying at King’s College for our trip to Halifax but we were pleasantly surprised. The double room spaces are quite large, the price is affordable, and the staff are generous and work hard to make the stay enjoyable for you. Would definitely stay again!

It was a unique experience and would recommend staying there. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean. If you are looking for a safe budget friendly place to lay your head this is a good spot for that. One thing I would suggest would be having a second blanket in the room in case it is needed in the middle of the night.
