Let’s be honest…

Even though we received an email few weeks before our stay that the area was noisy, you should tell it right away when we book so we can better plan for an alternative. Also our room was facing the bar terrace and the wall was vibrating, so it weak to say it’s noisy, it is terrible and ear plug are not of any help. You should be even more transparent and reduce your price because it’s expensive for just few jours of sleep.

Overall very good experience!

Amazing experience at Cameo! The room was very clean and came with everything you would need for a longer stay (we were only there a night). Everything was contactless and they send you codes for your room and the front entrance during your check in. Many food options and lots of night life around. Your reservation gets you access to a few different patios and vIP access. You also have access to wifi and the hotels Netflix! Bed was very comfy aswell. My only complaint would be that because you’re so close to the bars/clubs you can hear the loud music in your room, so the sound proofing isn’t really the best, but they do provide ear plugs on your bedside table. Overall very good experience!

The only concern I have is the shower floor. Even though a bathmat was furnished it was still so slippery and if you are not paying attention and just walk right in you could easily slip

Here's the good: The location to the waterfront is great, about a 10 to 15-minute walk. The suite was very clean. The self-check-in was convenient. Here is the bad: Pretty sure the queen bed isn't a real queen, it was very small. There is no parking. Here is the worst: It is extremely noisy! Not sure how it is for the 3rd floor and below, but our suite was on the 4th, directly across from the rooftop bar that Cameo partners with. And when I say right across, I mean I could look out our living room window and virtually lip-read the conversations happening out there. And it would have to be lip-reading, as the music is blaring far too loud for anyone to actually hear anything....till 2:30 in the morning. Along with the noisy neighbours outside the building, you'll enjoy the noisy ones in the building too with the thin walls and ceiling. All in all, if you're in Halifax to take in the nightlife and want to be in the action or can sleep through a full-blown concert less than 10 feet from you, it's perfect. If you are a light sleeper or have children with you, you may want to consider elsewhere.

Our stay was great. The suite was like a modern apartment. Clean, roomy, and fully equipped. Location is very convenient. Self check in system was simple and smooth with advanced emails and text reminders. Our suite had no outside view. No biggie for us as we just needed a nice, clean, cool, and cost effective place to stay for a night.

Its roomy and tastefully decorated, clean and perfect location to see the sites of halifax. The pier, shopping and public gardens all walkable from the hotel and lots of great placea to eat. The street can be loud but settles down i. The later evening and i had no trouble sleepong.

Nous avons séjourné un lundi et mardi. Pas trop festif pour cette periode de la semaine. Nous avons mis l'air climatisé et le ventilateur pour couvrir le son de l'exterieur et tout était parfait!
