Arrived 12:18 am and reservation not honored
I made a late reservation booking at 10:30 pm as we were having car problems and decided to stop for the night. We finally made it at 12:18 am and I was told my reservation was cancelled at 12:05 am and would not be honored. I have never had a hotel tell me that check in time was 1200 am and I have travelled a ton in my life. As long as arrived I got my room. I was exhausted and frustrated from being in the car for 10 hours and having mechanical issues. Since my reservation was cancelled I asked what I could do to get a room - pay another night? He said yes I could but I would not be allowed to check in until 3 pm as that is the check in time and it was now the next day. I was 13 minutes late and he would not honor my reservation!! I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and have never had an issue. After offering to even pay for another night to just get a room he would not allow it until 3 pm that day - 15 hours later. I went across the street to Hampton Inn and they were more than willing to give me a room for the night at 1230 am without any issues. I ended up paying for two rooms that night. Quality Inn should be ashamed of this policy. They just wanted to keep my money and not have to clean the room they had been paid for.
