Clean, warm rooms, beds a little hard and not well made ,loose bottom sheet. Birthday surprise in room lovely touch. Excellent restaurant. Confusion about settling of bill, as booked through hotels.com .
Lovely hotel and service as usual for our fourth stay.
Just a warning the reception area is being refurbed and breakfast finishes early on Saturday and Sundays… not the usual 11am. A letter told us in our envelope with keys which we thought was the receipt, so didn’t look at it! Us and lots of others were a bit rushed!

Liked the quiet and easy access to all facilities I needed
A really pleasant hotel for my overnight business trip. The rooms were great and the breakfast was exceptional. Electric charging points for my vehicle was also very convenient with a cheap KWh rate
Great hotel. Appeared to be clean everywhere but perhaps housekeeping could check under the beds. The restaurant, which we have visited previously, was disappointing this time. In the past has been amazing.
We have stayed here previously and had been very impressed with both hotel and restaurant. This time the hotel is fine, receptionists were all fabulous and efficient. The restaurant however was not as we remembered. Breakfast was as expected. Dinner though had a condensed menu and our collective opinion was that most dishes were on the small side. They were not of the same quality as our previous visit. Staff weren’t as well trained and although all very polite and trying hard, they were running around. Bar service was slow due to number of guests but this should have been expected.
