The property is way up on the mountain side. Take your time getting up to the lodge. The drive can be a little intimidating. But, once you're up there, the property is gorgeous. The staff were very accommodating. The room was clean and quiet. This was a nice play to stay.

We only had a short one-night stay at the hotel but enjoyed it. The room was a bit on the smaller side but had lots of amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, etc). And the area was beautiful, wish we had more time to explore. The room numbers can be a bit confusing as ours was something like B402 and there was also a different room 402 (without the B). They did mention this when we checked in though.

Does not have air conditioning in the rooms, because of that, we keep balcony door open to get fresh air all night long, We don’t sleep until 1::00am because of noise from day lodge party just near main building. Quite time start at 10:00pm, but not for building nearby. Just keep in mind

We reserved a room for 4 persons but only 1 set of bedding was there. Called room service and they delivered that. Duvet is worn out and cotton inside was out. Bath towel is extreme dirty. We had several photos to show. Very limited dining in this area. Map shows open but that said they are closed.

The lodge had very little accommodations for dinning. Main restaurant was booked for weddings, both nights. The smaller restaurant was poorly managed, seating was an issue, I'll leave it at that. We had to drive into Golden for dinning daily.
