While staff and restaurant were on par with a five star hotel (the staff being especially helpful and very personable), our room - the Villa Maria - was underwhelming. The bathroom was too dim and bathtub had some mold, the bedroom too hot, and the carpeting throughout a bit dingy. We saw they were doing updates in one of the sections of the hotel so hopefully this will include the room we stayed in.

I have now stayed at Hotel Du Vin in Glasgow three times and it is one of my favorite hotels in the world! The rooms are so so very comfy, the food is excellent, Oksy the bartender makes the best cocktails, and all of the staff are so helpful. I want to give a special shout out to Scott who has helped me several times to and from my room and around the property - he is a wonderful person and so helpful!
