The only issue we had was that our room window wouldn’t close properly, so it was a bit noisy when cars passed by. We could benefit from getting it fixed and maybe putting in an inner window to block out some noise from your other rooms.

From worst impression to the best

After having to change plans last minute we arrived a day earlier, the reception was dismissive when we discovered our booked dates where then wrong. Disheveled and stressed she was completely unhelpful and we decided that we’d just leave a day early as she had no intention of listening or helping. Room had big comfortable bed and usual comforts associated with the Leonardo such as coffee machine mini fridge etc, although the refurbishment has changed the bathroom having hand rails in annoying places and lighting is awful in main room. With plans changing we decided to request a late checkout. Phoning reception a lovely lady called Mandy was incredibly helpful and polite, went out of her way to accommodate our needs and reminded me of the lovely welcome I’ve become accustomed to when in the Glasgow Leonardo several times a year, for over 15 years.

Stayed here on a recent trip to Glasgow. Unfortunately I was in a room facing the railway. There was work getting done on the track which kept me up through the night. I understand this in no fault of the hotel however because it was a very hot day and the air con did not work I had to open the window. I usually enjoy my stays at the hotel but I felt a bit disappointed this time

60th Celebration Stay

Nice hotel and great location. Room was great and nice Breakfast. Let down was called ahead to place surprise bottle of Wine and message in my Mums room for her 60th Birthday. However hotel did not execute as promised. Apparently this was due to the bottle not being payed despite me offering to pay over the phone and being told to pay on check in at hotel. To top off was given 2 free drinks at the bar passed these on to my parents who then ordered their favorite GnT to then be told can only be used for Beer/House wine. Pretty embarrassing for me and my Wife. Simple comms not executed very well at all
