It was freezing cold, the staff couldn’t help me. Switched rooms to see if that would help.., it didn’t. Had to sleep under two blankets. Both rooms were in poor conditions, uncleanable spots. Staff did their best in these bad conditions. 10/10 would not recommend or return.

The rooms were freezing, we asked at reception for a heater only to be told that the fan would eventually blow hot air (which it didn’t) and that they stopped giving heaters to guests after last winter, it was actually warmer outside than inside. And then there was the cleaner who only done half a job she changed bin liner but left the rubbish at the side of the bin.

The room was clean and what we needed for one night. The shower had black hair in it which wasn’t the most pleasant. Because the shower head doesn’t move I couldn’t rinse it off before using the shower. Staff were good.

Beds very comfortable, black out blinds very good. Free parking was great. The quay being closed meant that the walk to the ovo was bit longer and not well signposted so we did walk a good bit further than neccesary. A notice at reception or simple map would have helped.

Ibus Budget is always a convenient stay, as I attend a lot of live music events in Glasgow. I've never had any issues with this hotel and will happily return. Added bonus is the Costa next door.
