Taking my wife as a surprise birthday getaway. I chose Ameristar for their rooftop pool and spa that is listed on the Ameristar website. Upon arriving, we were informed it was under repair. I should have been informed of this when booking. At check-in they did give a $25 discount for the inconvience. Very disappointing.

Have stayed at Ameristar several times over the years and usually enjoyable. This stay however was disappointing! Hot tub and pool were closed. Ice machine on our floor did not work and the refrigerator in our room did not work. For the price you pay for the rooms and amenities you think they would more efficient and keep up on repairs and maintenance.
