Staff was amazing, hotel was fantastic, the view is spectacular, the area is nice clean and quiet and a minutebwalk from the train. How ever dont expect a mini bar or a tea and coffe machine in the room.. nothing available after 11 or 12.midnight... all shops in area close as well as no.room service. If you dan do with out them then you will have a great time... we absolutely did and the restaurant is also great. Taxi to downtown geneva is between 40 and 50 swiss francs ... how ever u can take the train for free of you get the voucher from the hotel. Thanks lake geneva hotel .. we loved our stay

Parking a little confusing, but figured it out. Probably the most comfortable bed and pillows we had while in Switzerland. Breakfast was amazing.

Gorgeous view out of the Lakeview room, lots of bugs outside of the windows, however so you cannot open the windows as there are no bug screens. Breakfast ends at 9:30 AM just FYI, but it is very good. Staff is friendly. Beer is cheap and again the views are absolutely breathtaking and away from the main city so it is quiet. Train station is right behind the hotel very convenient to get around.

Geneva trip

It is our second time staying at Hotel Lake Geneva and we have enjoyed the location and the beautiful view of Lac Leman. The staff is friendly and responsible. Our room was large, very functional and it would have been nice to have an extra armchair and a mini fridge.

Great hotel, stunning views!

Great hotel, lake view is spectacular! Rooms are spacious, clean and even though you can’t change the temp with eco laws, it was incredibly comfortable and cool even during a heatwave weekend trip. Not too far from the centre and really accessible by car as well as public transport. Would come to this hotel again and highly recommend it!

Unacceptable additional charges

On checking my account after staying, I noticed the hotel had charged me 200chf for ‘smoking in the room’ - I am a lifelong non-smoker. This is fraud.

The worst possible. I was visiting the city and I booked the room based on my location. my GPS was off, contacted them immediately to say that I made a mistake and they literally said they will not refund my money. They said that they would contact the manager and hours later they came back saying that was not refundable. Money literally stolen from me.

Staff friendly at reception. Just some feedback really- Need more vegetarian and vegan options at the restaurant. The walls in the hotel room had dead fly marks. The bedding looked stained. The light switch controls the fan as there was no AC- so if you need the portable fan at night the lights will come on. Needs to have an option of a kettle in the room and tea bags not just coffee pods. In the shower there is only 1 wash- which is used for shampoo, body and face wash. There is an awful lot of noise in the mornings when you are trying to sleep- seemed to be banging on the wooden floors- unsure whether it was the cleaners sweeping so early in the day- they need to be quieter especially when you have a do not disturb sign on the door.
