Miniature and practical comfort

Super convenient on a layover. Right in the terminal, you could take the elevator in your pajamas to get coffee. The room would barely contain a mini cooper yet has a small desk, and a "climb over your bedmate" to get to the bathroom that happens to be within the shower stall. Comfortable bed, super quiet.

There were tiny flies and tiny crawling insects in the wet room drain. I’m sorry but that is never ever acceptable in a hotel room. I have stayed at Bloc in the past without problems, but after this I will never go back. Really shabby.

Extremely small room

We booked it for a night before our early flight next morning. The room was very small, so small that there is barely a space to turn around (two skinny adults). The pictures provided were taken with veeeery wide angle lense presumably. The bathroom is a wet room. A shower head is almost above a toilet, therefore everything gets extremely wet. There was no fan in the bathroom, the whole room was extremely humid after the two short showers. Convenient place for departures but wouldn’t book again.

Horrible....

We weren't expecting much coming to this hotel. We knew it would be basic and geared up for a sleep over pre-flight. However, there's no excuse for what we found there. The room is small and cell-like with no window or natural light. There is air conditioning, but it is insufficient for the space and doesn't detract from the lack of overall ventilation making the room feel musty and stuffy. The bed felt literally like a block of lumpy foam and the pillows similar. It was impossible to get anything approaching a good nights sleep in that room. The shower in the room is really close to the toilet in what can only be decribed as a glass cupboard. The shower temperature gauge was not working, so only ice cold water was coming out. If you want to use the toilet after the shower has been on, then you have to wipe everything dry with a towel, as the entire toilet becomes drenched. We left the hotel tired, dirty and feeling like we'd been fleeced. Avoid this place like the plague. The luxury of having easy access to the terminal cannot trump the horrors of staying here.
