This hotel is perfectly located if travelling from Gatwick- in fact it is actually in the South Terminal - I was flying from the North Terminal but the transfer took less than 10 mins .Room was good value and perfectly adequate for the competitive cost. Meal options less than 5 mins walk away- and I enjoyed a 20 % discount at Giraffe as staying at the Bloc Hotel.Would stay again .

Staff courteous and helpful. Not very well signposted in the airport. Had booked a small double, was extremely small had large floor to ceiling mirrors to give an effect of space but we found this unhelpful as we banged into them on several occasions as they seemed further away. You could sit on the W/C and have a shower at the same time.

Easy checkin. Room clean and just what we needed for a sort overnight stay. Excellent location. Wet room was a bit annoying as you can't walk in it without shoes unless you want your socks to get wet!

Although we knew the room was very small, it was even smaller than we expected, make sure you know what you’re getting if you book. Not keen on shower/bathroom arrangement and lighting in bathroom could be better. Great location, comfy bed and good orice

The photos online are misleading they are taken from impossible positions to disguise the fact that the “room” is little more than a pod they also give the impression of windows; yes there is a footnote saying the room is without a window but it is easily missed. The hot drinks room was disappointing!
