Got there early but couldnt get room early, which was okay. We walked the strip, ate and shopped. We went back to get the room, the key wouldnt work. We were given the next room over. Man running front desk was nice. The rooms are very out dated. Mirror and walls were dirty. Heat worked well as it was only in the high 20's the second day. You get what you pay for! If youre looking for a great location thats close to the strip, with no frills, this is your place.

Room was very dated but clean. Several items in the room were missing or damaged like no toilet paper holder bar, sink light globe was broken and several switches operated nothing. The exterior lights were not on and we had to use our phone light to guide us up the stairs and to our room. There was no tissues in the room. Very limited electrical outlets for phone chargers etc. Good price but you get what you pay for.

My room smell terrible the batteries in the remote control to the TV didn't work they said they would bring batteries they never did I thought the staff up front and the lobby was super rude and unwilling to help I won't ever ever do that again

Very nice to find an old school hotel that uses real keys and real hospitality. I know eventually it will turn into corporate high-rise hotels or whatever, but it was really nice to stay with local people.

Just needs to be updated. I did not like the fact that you could see daylight under the door! Beds were SUPER comfortable though. Bathrooms shower needs updated. I personally think that it should be a law that all bathrooms should have shower wands! I would stay here again though.

OLDER motel WAY LESS expensive than others in the area. Beds were clean and comfortable. Room needs upkeep/maintenance/repair. Wall paint chipped/cracked. Very small refrig's inside was almost completely block with ice. Sink faucet nozzle filter possibly partly clogged as thin stream only comes out of one side of nozzle. Stairwell light to 2nd floor rooms burned out/not working. Location is very good as only about 2 easy walking blocks to center of main drag in town. Plenty of parking space. Upon checking in - room key was in envelope with name taped to outside of office door (several other people's reservations also). Office was closed. Most other hotels/motels in area were sold out or almost and according to Expedia and I got the last one at this place.

I loved that it was downtown gatlinburg. Easy access to the strip for walking. But the hotel is out dated. The spray painted ceiling tiles to cover the water damage was definitely odd. The plumbing was a nightmare. The beds were comfy enough for a few days. Price was steep for what it was.
