Great views

Older hotel but great views. We stayed in a Mountain View room on the 14th floor. Room has older decor but the view was beautiful. Walls are paper thin. We could hear music and talking from rooms on either side of us. There is not a lot of parking downtown. Itā€™s definitely not a hotel you can walk into town from. Indoor pool is closed for renovations, which was disappointing. Would have been nice to have been informed of that before we arrived. Also, there is a trolley that you can take into town from the hotel. Overall still liked the hotel and would stay there again.

The pros: The view was amazing. The restaurants that were located inside are really good. The staff was very friendly. Cons: The pool was closed and didnā€™t let us know when we first got there which was kind of a disappointment. You have to pay extra for parking which is crazy they are not located right on the strip. The bathroom was very small.

So i booked this trip about 5 months in advance. Main reaseon was the event was here at the resort. Plus added benefit a pool, spa, fitness center. Fast forward to my weekend stay there was no pool, no spa, or a fitness center available. Under construction never received an email or anything about it.

Nice place to stay. Rooms seem to of had a little mold/black dust/dirt in them. Around the top and bathrooms. Walls seemed dirty/dusty. Front desk were always amazing and nice. Bunk beds were amazing for the kids. We went during a convention and could hear the kids downstairs talking all night and day long.

I am disappointed in our stay for the money we payed to stay here. My husband stepped on an exposed nail in our room. Our room a/c had a hard time getting under 74. I had to clean our shower head upon driving because of build up. And the front door wouldnā€™t let anybody in. It would lock after people go through it and we had to wait in the blowing snow for somebody to let us in. Then the kiddie pool had a film on top and wasnā€™t flowing so we didnā€™t get in it. On a good note, the cookies were good.

Went during the holidays and the hotel and city were beautifully decorated. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Amazing Mountain views. Friendly staff and the parking was easy to find a spot and get in and out. Now for the drawbacks, the hotels is up on top of a mountain so you cannot walk down to the main city center easily, the trolley stops early in the winter so if you plan to stay out past 5pm you will need to get your car and deal with parking in Gatlinburg. The breakfast buffet was an additional charge, we had it once during our stay and it was just okay, not really worth the price. We still had a lovely time and would stay again.
