It was a great place to stay! Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Parking was difficult at times, areas are tight but it all worked out.

Spa tub in the room was nice but very loud. Right over the check in desk. The Sauna has been removed but its still on the website. That was one of our reasons for booking at Sydney James. Update the photos and take off the things that aren't there anymore.

Great location and pool

I didnt think it was 5 star but it was good for what we needed. I woll say the room was a nice size. The bathroom was a little small but worked although it didn't have a fan and needs a light in the shower area. Fridge was a nice size too. I did see a baby roach and hair in shower but beds seemed clean even though the sheets were very cheap material. Not a great view anymore with the Embassy behind the property. The pools and hot tub were great.

The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were really nice and it was a plus that the trolley stopped right in front of the hotel. Would recommend it's a good place to stay.

So disappointing…

We love the Sidney James. But, we unfortunately won’t be stay here anymore. The creek rooms have lost their appeal with the parking lot now taking over the view. There use to be trees and the creek and now all you see is parking lot and creek. lol. The parking has gotten ridiculously worse. If you aren’t in the room by 6 or earlier you won’t find a spot to park. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable and the room was nice.

Was great for what it is

Stayed in a room with one queen size bed. The hotel is older. It stated they’ve done some update in here and there my child love having three different pools to be able to go into. It was perfect for what we needed. It’s not the Ritz the mates could do a better job clean the vinyl floor, but it worked perfect for what we needed getaway trip for the kids .

the ceiling fan was missing 2 blades, found a roach and other bugs in the room, tub took 10 min to drain, fridge leaked water on floor, door needed a threshold, and room smelled. I went to front desk and they were completely booked and could not move us and only offered to give us some air freshener for room. We will not stay here again.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Great service great view from our riverside room. Pool areas are great. Friendly staff and helpful if you have a question just ask they will be happy to answer.

Room had strange set up. When walked in door there were 4 steep steps down to into the room. There was only one light switch at the top of the stairs that turned off all the lights. One of the bed side lamps did not work. Shower was very small. I'm 5-4 and it was very short for me. There was not a towel rack or even a hook to hang a towel. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The air conditioner did work well. Would not recommend.

Very very clean room....no mold could be be spotted anywhere!!! The shower was spotless, no mold in the grout. Friendliest staff we have ever encountered. The trolley stops right at the hotel so we were able to relax and let someone else drive in the bumper to bumper traffic. Excellent experience all the way around. No complaints!
