I was so excited for this stay but it has not gone as expected. The room and grounds are clean and very nice. The bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly. The issues I had were, this is listed as a pet friendly hotel and I would not agree with that. There is not a pet relief area on the grounds and when I asked for areas the only ones available were right on a busy road, in a flower bed, or the hotel next door. So keep this in mind when traveling with a dog. I proactively paid the pet feed the week before my trip assuming it would be easier and in doing this gave them my credit card after already paying for my stay with a virtual card and not only did they try to run the whole stay through my personal card twice even though it was already paid, now 3 days after my stay they have run the pet fee through a second time. There was an issue with the room door code and the battery being dead in the lock and honestly I question if my room locked at all the first three days I was there. This has been a very disappointing experience overall.

This is by no means a luxury hotel, it feels like you are in a motel. The rooms are very small. The toilet was a foot and a half from our bed if we did not slide the door shut it was a ghastly sight! The pictures are quiet deceiving! This hotel is located on the busiest street in town we were there over Thanksgiving and it took us an hour to get out and cover 1 mile with bumper to bumper traffic. I had hoped to have a relaxing time but honestly there was no place to relax in the room and there is no common area. Unfortunately, it was too cold to sit on the balcony. We are experienced travelers and found it to be totally overpriced at almost 450.00 a night we stayed in the Majestic Glen. That said the staff was amazing and very responsive, they have a nice upscale restaurant on site with good food. This was a lifesaver because all restaurants in town were packed with people and with no availability. The Heirloom Room was not overcrowded we could relax and enjoy our meals.

Great Balcony view. The room was clean, fresh and not cluttered. The decor was quiet, simple and tasteful. It had zen like quality that made it very restful. The only thing I would add is a small microwave as we like to heat our milk for coffee but that’s a small thing. We loved that we were off the beaten path a little. It was a quite a contrast to the noise

Room was clean. Balcony was lovely looking right at the water. Breakfast was delicious. My only complaints would be the way the bathroom was laid out the water just pooled into the center of the floor leaving a literal puddle if you took a shower. And if you get the end room [im assuming the ones with the tub] you hear the washing machine running alot. But over all everything was wonderful.

It's really super cute! They did a great job putting lipstick on a pig in the best way possible. The room is clean and comfy and the river view and sounds are fantastic! I was apprehensive due to the town being one giant tourist trap but if you're visiting the park and need a respite, this is the place :)

Room was clean, view excellent, concierge and housekeeping staff very friendly and accommodating. Two recommendations: 1) Room 103 needs an outdoor light. We must use flashlight to see keypad at night. 2) Add pegs or coat rack on wall opposite door to hang jackets. One concern: Our air/heating unit only blew cool air. Staff assured us it would be fixed. You could see it had been worked on as decorative cover was removed, but it still blew cool air. Never heard anything more from staff; it still blew cool air and decorative cover never replaced which we took to mean more work needed. Update from staff would have been nice. We used fireplace for heat.
