There was a lot of activities at the property. Even if I didn't go outside, there was enough things to do at the hotel that we cut our plans short to make sure we were back at the hotel early. Property was well-kept and clean.

Beautiful big onsen hotel with Mt Fuji view, great food & lovely Japanese garden that is well-kept. Staff were welcoming the moment we arrived & on our departure ready to help with our luggage. The roof top hot springs has to be the best view you can ever ask for. We loved everything about this stay. Best hotel we’ve been to. The staff were amazing!! We definitely didn’t want to leave and would 100% come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The first morning we woke up and peeled back our curtain, Mount Fuji was in full view. It was spectacular. It was also serene to enjoy the view from our private open air bath. The breakfast was fantastic with so many options, and dinner was beautifully played. The staff was very kind and welcoming — we were initially worried because we mentioned that my husband has celiac disease and cannot eat gluten, and they seemed unwilling to accommodate. But, once we were there, they made sure to review with him what he could eat — it was likely just a language barrier and misunderstanding of his restrictions. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to Kawafuchiko station, which is helpful if you want to explore the lake and when you are ready to leave town.

This is a very interesting property. We visited to glimpse Fujisan but were denied. The property is dated but has obvious charm with typical japanese 70s style architecture. The outdoor onsen is very nice. Not crowded even on a weekend. Food was really fabulous. There is good entertainment in the evening and plenty of little clubs to drink wine. I recommend this place
