This was the second stop in my japan trip. I loved it here. Views of mt fuji from the bedroom window. Affordable bike rental and located within a beautiful mountain town. They provided towels and yukata for the public bath. Im going to miss the smell of tatami in this room.

The place is 30 min on foot from the Fujikawaguchiko Station but you can ask for a lift to and from with an hour notice. The windows need a deep cleaning and there's a weird smell in the corridors. It's ryokan style and the futon need to be WAY more fluffly, it's as if I was sleeping directly on the tatami mat. There's a public bathing area so there's only a toilet in the bedroom, no shower. The staff is friendly and accomodating.

Nice place in Kawaguchiko, our rooms in the 2nd floor had a view of mount Fuji. It's very tradicional, rooms have japanese futons, not beds, and there's no shower in the rooms, only toilet (yes, those that wash your butt) and sink. If you want to shower, you have to use the shared japanese bath. There could be other people with you i'm there, but there are separate baths for men and women

Lake Kawaguchi stay

Bedroom is traditional Japanese however thete are no curtains, just white blinds. As it gets light from 4.30am hard to get a goodnights sleep.

The view from our room was amazing, loved waking up to see mt. Fuji every morning. Traditional Japanese room with tatami floor was a great experience. Great value for the price if you don’t mind a shared bathroom. Onsen style bathrooms, tidy but could use a little extra TLC. Staff were helpful. Bikes are available for rent, definitely recommend using them as we got to see so much of the town while riding around. Overall we had an amazing experience staying here and I would stay again!

La propreté de notre chambre laisser clairement à désirer (poussière et saleté sur le rebord de fenêtre, toiles d'araignées au plafond...). Mais nous avons passé un bon séjour grâce à la vue sur le Mont Fuji, très agréable quand il n'y a pas de nuage le matin ! Un conseil pour les voyageurs qui n'ont pas de voiture, arrivez le plus tôt possible car passer 18h il n'y a plus de bus pour vous emmener et il n'y a pas de uber ici (les taxis ne sont pas forcément accessible en terme de réservation aux touristes, un numro de téléphone japonais à l'air requis), nous avons marcher 30 minutes dans le noir sur des "trottoirs" qui ne sont pas conçu pour les valises.

簡素ですが清潔です

トライアスロン大会のために宿泊しました。大会会場まで徒歩７分、自転車で３分ととても近く便利でした。 布団、シーツ、タオルはとても清潔でした。 私の部屋からは正面に富士山が大きく見えました。 畳でかつ3階だったため、自転車を部屋に持ち込むことができず、車に入れて置かなければならなかったので、早朝バイクのセッティングをしなければなりませんでした。 大会が終わるまで、車を停めさせくれます。 お風呂が18時〜21時と時間が短いので、大会が終わってからシャワーは浴びられたますが、湯船には浸かれません。
