They say they upgraded us when we checked in, they stuck us in a room next to the bar which was loud until about 1 in the morning. The facilities were nice and close to everything. Be careful with your bill because they overcharge us everyday on our breakfast and lunch bill.

We always enjoy our stay at the Pier House. Their staff is attentive, professional and fun. We have enjoyed Jacko for years. One of the only resorts with a beach and our favorite part is for the past few years every afternoon a manatee swims by us at beach.

It was fabulous. The staff was amazing and we enjoyed the pool, beach and restaurant. My only suggestion is they add a pet walking area with turf. There is no grass on the property for pet relief.

The bathroom was very nice. The rest of the room was just ok. The common hallway had trash on the floor for the entire weekend. Nobody swept the floor at all. For the money you pay there are better hotels.

Cons: Bed was very hard, no elevator for the building we were in, 1 beach attendant (where the snorkel stuff is) was very rude, breakfast options weren’t the greatest and you could only get entree’s in the price. Pros: Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, the beach and pool area was very clean with a beautiful sunset view, convenient to any shopping and restaurants, our room’s location had a quiet area to sit in the balcony (surrounded by trees & not many people walking past)

We live Pier House. Have stayed before. Unfortunately we were stuck in a "Junior Spa Suite" in rear spa building this time. Our "patio" was in the rear parking lot. Literally. Loud at night and in am with cars, workers. Patio walls rusted . Room small amd cramped. Will say it was very clean . Mattress a bit hard . Fees upon fees upon fees added plus ridiculous drink prices . Was not worth what I paid ...should have had an oceanfront suite for what I paid instead had ghetto suite

Perfect Hotel for a getaway.

We stayed at the pier house on the “off” season and just loved it. It was super cute, super clean rooms and grounds. The A/C was cold as was the fridge in our room. if I had to find something to complain about it would have to be the lighting in the bathroom was not the best- hard to do makeup in there- not a deal breaker at all. Loved the resort really close to all the bars and stores on Duval and then also close to the Piers if you plan any excursions.

Check out did not ask us if we enjoyed our stay. Close to a lot of restaurants and walking distance to many attractions. No wifi in garden building which is fine but check in did not notify us upon arrival. We would have requested another building if they had informed us. We found at when we called front desk. The beach at this hotel is the best part. Clean and plenty of lounge chairs.

Property is very nice and well maintained. We stayed in a double queen room with a lanai. To our disappointment it was very small. There were two of us and there was no room to move around. The bathroom is small also no room to put your toiletries around the sink. For the price of the room it was not worth it. The location is great.

Great Property and Location

Our stay was great! We encountered some issues but Pier House staff addressed them. Beach is nice. Pool is nice. Location is great. Make sure you understand the type of room you are booking as hotel.com pictures lead you to beleive that rooms are ocean view but are not. Read the listings carefully.
