Don't be fooled by the style of hotel as it's a blend of student and hotel on the property but it's a very well run and executed system. Very good people and very good food in a unique place very close to the train station Santa Maria Novella. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. Rooms are not too spacious but they are clean and you're only there to sleep. Enjoy it.

Traveling with my husband around Italy. We booked this stay for three nights in Florence. We were pleasantly surprised at the hotel. Upon walking in, the energy is super cute modern and youthful. Check in was smooth. They allowed us to leave our luggage until check in time while we explored the city. Rooms are medium sized , just enough space for two people . Clean and comfy beds. Clean comfy shower. Eco focused hotel which was a big bonus. Breakfast was included with our rooms and it did not disappoint . As far as hotel breakfasts go, this was pretty decent . The hotel also has a super cool rooftop bar and pool with a nice view of Florence. Does get packed at sunset. The hotel also notably offers a variety of activities as they do cater to students. My husband and I did not feel out of place amongst the younger college crowds. There was a good mix of age groups . We did not experience any issues with noise in our rooms . If our trip wasn’t so focused on exploring Florence, I would have loved to experience all the cool things the hotel offers. Would stay again.

Loved this place for so many reasons...large rooms, free water, great shower, lovely restaurant, cool roof terrace, free condoms (!) 15 min walk max to the main sights. Clean and modern and nice young crowd. Would definitely stay again.

If you're not a student.....
If you're not a student I don't know if this is the place for you! Odd corridors, completely condoms and communal irons in the basement. The rooftop bar however is stunning.

it's a student hostel with hungry spiders
It’s a student hostel more than a hotel. Rooms are empty feeling. I woke up with bites all over my body on the first night. I’d worn pants & long sleeves so far so the bed was the only place that my entire body could have been bitten. They moved us to another room. Pharmacy said they were spider bites. Don’t know if you can blame a hotel for a hungry spider but I have seen another review on where they show a photo of a spider’s web… overall, not what I thought it was going to be. Don't know if that's Hotels.com fault for not stressing that it's more of a student hostel than hotel or my fault for not looking into it more. First room was dirty, second was better.

Great hotel! Centrally located, clean, lots of amenities…loved the rooftop bar❤️ the other half of the hotel is a student housing just as an FYI, mostly students studying abroad, I believe. Nice young vibe, wonderful service as well! Definitely recommend!

GET THIS ONE 10/10
This hotel was AMAZING. Not only was it super cool looking but all the amenities are worth it! The rooftop bar and views, the swing set entrance and the decor were photo ready ! The room was so comfy and spacious. We really recommend and enjoyed our stay here. The location is great although there’s not much to eat around however everything is super close walking distance. I wanted to spend more time in the hotel then outside lol.

Good location and comfort bed. I was happy with the stay except I had to activate my key twice during my three nights stay. However, I received a 25 euros bill in the evening after checking out 7am. Hotel staff told me I had consumed drink and snack from minibar which I didn’t. I was told it was a mistake after emailing the hotel again but it was certainly not a pleasant experience.

Online the hotel looked very modern and clean. We chose this location because of that, and the location being walkable to many places on our list to see. It hit most of the needs for us but the description lacks some important notes. 1. The hotel is very geared towards students. They are everywhere which is fine, but they congregate in most spaces and tend to have not taken care of the property. 2. There is a lot of wear on the property. In the rooms, there is a smell of sweat or feet. The bathrooms had mold in the corners, and there was no shower door in our room. The panel of glass does not extend to be able to keep the floor from getting completely wet when showering. The beds were ROCK hard. We came with family and had 4 rooms, they were all the same way. 3.The staff was friendly and helpful, and there were several food and drink options available. The cafe in the front was decent for breakfast, or smoothies as well. If you have an early tour though, the timing is right to get something before the start, as they open at 8. 4.The rooftop bar gives wonderful views but be aware that this is not a full bar, and their drink options are mostly limited to the trendy drinks on their menu. As Americans we tend to like sweeter drinks, and this was very limited, as they do not carry any type of juice. But the bartenders were helpful in trying to accommodate us so we adapted. The price of the hotel along with location was definitely a positive.
