Location. Location. Location.

Before I tell you about the property, let me tell you about Giovanni. From the time we booked to the time we left, he kept in communication with us. The property. Nothing is perfect; however, this is pretty close. Location was fantastic! Anytime you can walk with your luggage from the train station to a property in less than 10mins that’s a good thing. Giovanni was even there to meet us and help us get settled into the apartment. Be aware that it’s on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator; but, if you read about the property it states that so for those who like to travel with massive suitcases… good luck. We had carry on luggage so no problem. Close to everything!The apartment itself is incredibly clean, LOTS of character, and incredibly comfortable. If you’re like me, I love charm; but, not when it comes to bathrooms. I need a modern/updated bathroom, and that’s exactly what you get with this apartment. Big bathroom, nice shower. I’ve mentioned the location being amazing. Waking up and looking out the windows directly at the cathedral is a differentiator. You feel part of history and that’s what we wanted. Ok, so I said nothing is perfect; however, I judge imperfection by whether or not it’s within control. Only negative was the construction noise during the day and sometimes loud/annoying people outside in the evening; but, let’s be honest… You’re in Florence! If you’re inside all day you’re doing it wrong. Highly recommend this property! Giovanni is the best! 5/5

We had an amazing stay at Medici Chapel. Giovanni went above and beyond to help us find parking for our 9 passenger van, and was very kind, helpful, and proactive in his communication. The apartment was spacious, clean, and in the PERFECT location. I would give my experience here 10 stars if I could!

Great Stay in Florence Highly Recommended!

Our home away from home in Florence. Stayed 6 nights in November. Very comfortable accommodations. Perfect location. Giovanni is a great host. Highly responsive and great communication. Checked in with us a few times during our stay to see if we needed anything. Loved looking out the windows at the Medici Chapel and the street scene below. Highly recommended. Would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend to others. Thank you!

Beautiful apartment in great location

We stayed at Giovanni’s apartment for 3 nights and it was great. Rooms are huge and beautiful. Beds are very comfortable and the entire place was immaculate. Most beautiful bathroom. Location was excellent, Medici Chapel right outside the bedroom. Giovanni was there to help us bring our bags up and checked in every day to make sure we had everything we needed. He was so helpful. There was a little street noise in the front room from the restaurants below, but not enough to bother us. We would 100% stay here again and I will recommend to anyone looking for a place in Florence!

Roomy Rooms!

Sometimes photos can be deceiving but not in this case. The two bedrooms and bathroom were very large, spacious and decorated with antiques. The bathroom was fully redone, spacious with heated towel racks which quickly dried our towels. There are two large windows in the primary bedroom that overlook a cobble stone street and plaza and face directly the Medici Chapels. You can’t beat the location. It is also a 5 minute walk to the train station. There are restaurants right outside the front door. Giovanni was very responsive and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The kitchen was well equipped and a good size. We really enjoyed staying here and having the ability to pop out into the heart of the city or staying in and spreading out!

great location, great apartment, perfect host

This centrally located two bedrooms apartment was ideal in every way. The view of the Medici Chapel is breathtaking. Giovanni, the landlord was gracious and accommodating as he introduced us to his beautifully appointed unit, which is very modern in every way, including the air conditioning. Ideally located near the station, it is surrounded by any number of restaurants and within minutes of all the main attractions. I highly recommend this location for a perfect Florence visit.
