Fantastic location, 3-4 mins walk to the Duomo. Decent breakfast options. Only downside is that the property is very old and so are the rooms. When we walked into the room every time, there was a damp/musty smell which not pleasant. The room are in need for some renovation!

From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and happy to assist us. Our room was wonderful and the food was plentiful and varied. The location is fantastic, we felt very safe and secure there, and we would definitely stay there again. If you are looking for an affordable, convenient and friendly place to stay, this is the one!

Overall a very nice hotel, but the staff was awesome. Extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us. I had a large suitcase that broke, and one of the staff said they would be happy to throw it away for me. Just good service!

Best staff ever! Friendly and knowlegable with a wonderful dinner recommendation just around the corner from the hotel. We had a truly Florentine dinner and met a roomful of people who gathered together with us for the next nights' dinner as well. 24 hour available in-person staffing was special.

Excellent location

Entry into the property can b tricky with not a lot of initial information for entry and end exit of the building. A mall old lift did the job. The actual foyer/entry of the building was not well maintained, but not part of the hotel's responsibility. The hotel lobby was on the 3rd floor with the dining area. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was typical of size in Italy, but it worked. As did the small attached bathroom. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it met our needs for convenience to the majority of sights in the city. Location can't be beat, just a few steps down the street to the Duomo, lots of shopping nearby and plenty of choice for restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was varied over the 3 days and adequate to start your day. The beds and pillows were firm, The room was quiet, despite its central locarion. We would stay here again for the location.

We booked the Jr suite and couldn't be happier with the room. The view from the terrace was amazing. Only recommended for people that can handle stairs, but if you can the payoff is more than worth it. We would definitely stay again when visiting Florence.

The property is perfectly situated right in the heart of Florence. Because of our status with Expedia we were upgraded to a Suite with a private rooftop terrace with a view of the Duomo and surrounding area. It was amazing. The staff was super friendly.
