The staff were rude, inefficient and dragged me from my room as a result of their mistake so they could humiliate me in front of other guests

What free breakfast sign in hotel said £9.99 clean room cleaners are so polite now lets talk about the staff expect one young who was very polite and helpfull the rest of the staff rude lack of training if there ever is a realnfire in that place good luck they have no clue 6am wake up call due to fire alarm and just excuses from the staff that didnt even no how to turn it off and didnt even investigate the issue

Front desk staff were great. This is a low cost hotel aimed at short stays but it is desperate need of refurbishment. Other small things such as no cup in the bathroom (for your toothbrush), no new towels (even though requested), a tv remote that didn’t work (even with new batteries).

I messaged the hotel twice with a request but did not receive a response, however my request was met on arrival. I cannot see the point of a messaging facility if the recipient doesn't bother to respond. I discovered on entering my room that there wasn't a drinking glass provided which I required. The receptionist tried very hard to resolve the situation even directing me to the "breakfast facility" (which turned out to be a fast food bar during the day!), but to no avail. This basic oversight combined with a "well worn" interior leads me to an average rating only. The room was spacious, quiet and quite clean apart from the carpet in places. The shower was good. For a no frills short stay its good value for the money.

Check in was awful. Obi was rude, unhelpful and tried to charge my friend twice for the same room. The room had been prepaid but Obi insisted it hadn't been! When the computer confirmed prepayment, there was no apology. It was an unpleasant experience. Check out was lovely. Kate was friendly, helpful and greeted us with a smile. The shower needs a refresh and bathroom plug didn't work. Corner of bathroom floor needs a good clean. Bed OK.

Smelt damp in the room

Poor quality run down neglected hotel

This hotel is very run down, TV didn’t work properly, bathroom was dirty, it’s way too hot, fan supplied was damaged and protective front grill had to be removed to allow it to spin. Avoid at all costs pay an extra £10 a night and find somewhere decent to stay, booked for two nights but checked out after first night and went and found a far nicer local hotel.
