The cleanliness of this property is commendable and the staff were friendly. The drapes didn’t close all the way which interrupted my sleep. The bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. I think this hotel should invest in pillows and comfortable mattresses, which is most important for tired travelers. Sad continental breakfast. However, Golden Crust is across the street and it definityhit the spot for me.

The hotel was clean. The staff was pleasant. The only drawback was that most of the staff didn't speak or understand English. Trying to get info about the airport shuttle was like trying to roller skate on the beach!

A huge disappointment. Expedia and this hotel really let us down. After expedia changed our flight last minute and threw in a 12 hr unexpected layover we had to book this hotel. Then after we committed to this aweful change of plans expedia changed our flight back to the one we booked. We immediately kindly asked the hotel and expedia to have mercy on us and just refund us for the hotel since we no longer needed to stay there but they told us it was our problem and nothing that either of them could do to help us. Well thanks Five Towns Inn management team for ruining our day and our bank account. I hope you never have to be on the other end a situation like this. It really hurts. And thanks Expedia for showing long time loyal members how you really feel about us. I will no longer be using your services and I will make sure my friends and family stay away as well. After all these years I thought you could do us better than this. Thanks again, for nothing.

Being stuck in JFK this was the perfect accommodation. However, hotel is a little outdated but very clean. Staff was very cold and direct but quick and efficient. Breakfast was only bread, juices and cereal. Not very continental, however, Places to eat are about a 12 min walk.

Good for a layover at JFK

This hotel is a very convenient location if you have an overnight layover at JFK. The bed was very comfortable for an older property, and the front reception staff members were kind and accommodating. They have a free airport shuttle, but be forewarned it only picks up at JFK every hour. You might have to wait. They do run the shuttle 24/7, so you can easily put your name on the list to go back to the airport, too. Like all JFK area hotels, the price can be more than you want to pay. Five Towns was the most reasonable of all the ones I checked, though.
