The proprietors took great care taking care of the little amenities, such as fresh ground coffee and a carafe, extra towels, a boot scraper for mud outside the front door, rocking chairs outside. The restaurant served delicious breakfast.

the room was impressive, from the ease of checking in to the comfortable chairs and view on the back patio. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was more than we expected, the room was super quiet, and I must mention the coffee. We’ve stayed at places where the coffee was not fit for drinking, but we left there and days later we’re still discussing the coffee. Highly recommend the place!

Best stay of our two week trip. We enjoyed the views and the amenities. The small touches made us feel welcome. The drip coffee in the room was excellent. We appreciated the snacks, extra towels, blankets if you wanted to suit outside and enjoy the views, the Apple charger, great shower and the separate heater for the bathroom. The Outfitters restaurant just down the street had the best pizza I've ever had. The lodge was so comfortable and welcoming. We saw mule deer just outside our back porch in the morning.
