We really wanted to love this place, and it could be great with just a couple of soundproofing tweaks. The beds were comfy, the rooms were a good size, the staff very helpful, great location and reasonably priced. Our sleep experience was not so great. Sound insulation seems poor, we were awoken at 5:00 am by the upstairs guest moving around and presumably packing for about 45 minutes. The plumbing system may not be properly installed as we experienced a lot of interrupted sleep as the pipes regularly made loud hammering sounds any time a toilet, sink or shower in a nearby room was used. Strongly suggest the hotel install water hammer arrestors, tightening pipe straps, or even insulating pipes to reduce vibrations.

Checking in was simple, I love the feature of having room number and door code texted to me. Extended check out was generous and we had everything we needed. The room was very clean, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone stopping through Ennis.

Room was clean. Close access to dining. Quiet. Didn’t interact with staff on premise. Contactless check in. Loved the coffee room and made use of it. No issues, would stay here again if in Ennis again.

I loved the binder in the room. It was a big help with what to do and where to go. The owner did a great job with it. I wish every hotel did this. I try and support mom and pop businesses and it looks as if they take pride in this hotel. It was clean, staff very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I have is minor. I could hear the shower in the next room over. But overall, thank you so much for our pleasant stay. If we are ever in the area, this is where we will stay.
