Decent enough hotel in general. The two staff members we dealt with were very friendly and helpful so our recommendation would be for staff to keep the breakfast area stocked. Many different items were out including plates with two hours left to go.

The location was good for us as an in between stop between Yellowstone NP and Bozeman. The highlight was the water slide and hot tub! Breakfast was included which consisted of fruit, yogurt, bagels/toast/ English muffins and microwave sandwahiches. The staff was friendly and helpful and recommended a great restaurant up the street, Rivehouse BBQ. We had two rooms, and the downside was one room smelled faintly of stale cigarette smoke (non smoking hotel) although very clean, and the other room had lukewarm shower.

Location was great! Service was great, pool was good for the kids, and room was spacious and was able to do laundry there. It was convenient. Only remark I have is that the beds could be a little more comfortable but they were not terrible.

Basic hotel. Guest laundry provided free which is very nice. No elevator. They had assigned us a room on the third floor. We’re retired (older). They wouldn’t change us to a lower floor because we had booked thru Expedia. If they don’t want you to book thru Expedia why were they listed there?

My kids loved the pool woth the waterslide! The breakfast was good and had a okay variety. The room was clean and had great amenities. Will definitely stay again!

The bathroom wasn’t clean, there was hair in the bathtub and the toilet paper disintegrated in my hand when I tried to wipe after doing my business. There was also a leak in the sink. The AC took 19 years and forever to start working.

Expedia shows location as Gallatin Gateway. It’s actually in Big Sky - about 30 miles further south. That worked out fine for us but the additional distance was unexpected.

No elevator: Be prepared to carry your luggage

There is no elevator in the hotel and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. The room was old and dingy. The bathroom fixtures were rusty.

Outside steps to building entrance was roped off and you had to walk around thru the grass. Room had lots of nicks and scapes on the walls. Nothing and I mean nothing hanging on the walls. Heater made a noise like a bird was giving birth or about to mate in our room. Manager hit the unit a couple of times then offered to bring us a space heater. The space heater worked just fine. It was clean and the front desk clerk was informative and polite. The room was almost $200 and I felt overcharged for the condition of the room.
