Arrived at the hotel and took advantage of the valet parking which was quick and easy - my bags were even taken straight to my room. The in room amenities and extras were excellent. The pool was quiet and I even had it to myself the morning of my stay. I dined in Baba which was delicious. The only small negative I encountered was that my room was above the restaurant so it was a little noisy. The location is excellent for exploring both the Old Town and New Town of Edinburgh.

This is a fabulous hotel. A great central location. Staff were super helpful & good sense of humour with it. I was upgraded and able to check in early too. Absolutely wonderful - with great room snacks too ;-)

The room was spotless, and staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to go above and beyond in helping make it the best stay possible. Out concierge Remi was amazing with incredible food recommendations and fizz on arrival to every restaurant they booked on our behalf. The spa was excellent. We also had espresso martinis in our room waiting for us as it's my partners favourite drink

Lovely staff and service. Several common areas for relaxing. Bed and room size were comfortable. It was a room for two, however, there was only one chair so one of us had to sit on the bed. The view was very unsightly so we did not open the window treatments. The bathroom was modern and clean except for some mold on the shower tiles. All things considered I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The Kimpton Charlotte Square was the perfect place to spend Christmas week in Edinburgh! The staff were incredibly pleasant and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our rooms were lovely—very comfortable and beautifully designed. The location is unbeatable; we were right in the heart of everything and could easily walk to the Christmas market, the amazing shopping on George Street and Princes Street, and iconic spots like Victoria Street and the Royal Mile. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel with outstanding staff situated close to many attractions. Clean, stylish with a great ambience. All reception staff from Zoe who checked us in to Davy who was very helpful with our cases leaving, all staff presented with excellent customer service skills. The pool and gym were also excellent. Will definitely return!

Location was great for walking distance to everything we wanted to go to. Hotel was clean and really lovely. Stayed with our 10 month old, all staff were so accommodating to us with her. Used the pool with our little girl which was great. We come to Edinburgh every year and this is the best hotel we’ve stayed in by miles.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing. The facilities were fantastic. My only observation was the shower. It was a bath/shower but did not have much space. But that is a very minor thing. I would recommend this hotel and will happily stay here again.
