From the time we walked in, shaking terrified as Americans who had just driven on the wrong side of the road for the first times in our lives, the staff was nothing but wonderful. Greeted us with smiles, and were efficient. Quiet and accomodating at all times. Breakfast was great every morning, and the relaxing free range atmosphere was exactly what we needed. We lounged in almost every room and felt at home everywhere. We had dinner there two nights and everything was excellent. Highly recommend this location!

We were pleased to discover that there was a (small - 2 person) lift which made it easier to get our large luggage up to our room. Only negative comment is that the TV in the room was rather small by today's standards, but it was adequate.

A delightful night away in wonderful surroundings. Amazing greeting on arrival, great room, food at restaurant was delicious and waiting staff were great. Good range of food and drink for breakfast, and looking out into the grounds as daylight broke made the experience even better. Wandering in the grounds in the morning was so peaceful and a fantastic way to finish off our stay. Highly recommend.
