This small, boutique hotel was an amazing find in Sydney. Located a short distance from the gates of garden Island naval dockyard and the famous 'Harry's Cafe de Wheels' it is a perfect spot for the short term visitor.
I arrived at the hotel at 0900 straight from a cruise ship, and was delighted to find that a room was available, even though the Manager, Richard, assured me that usually the occupancy rate for this property is, understandably, very high.
The reception area comprised a lovely marine themed lounge and rest area, which was nice. The hotel offered not only free wifi but a complimentary, self-serve full English breakfast, which was delightful. The bedroom was comfortable too, with plenty of amenities provided.
All this for just $134 per night and close by the Royal Botanical Gardens makes this the ideal stop over. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From now on it will be my 'go to' hotel in Sydney.
