The Wellington is in a great location, just around the corner from the Temple Bar Pub. The pub/restaurant was really good. The service was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

It was right in the middle of everything which was perfect for seeing Trinity College, the Book of Kels, Temple bar, Christ Church, hop on/off bus, St Patrick’s cathedral, Dublin Castle and took a Literary Pub tour. It was a very nice stay, the only drawback was that you had to lower all the shades on the window and not just individually. We were in our room and a woman across the street was looking into our room and had her phone pointed into our room.

This place is a gem for good price. The staff is very nice and friendly and very helpful. However my sink was not draining the water properly and the shower doesn’t really have a shower door so the water went everywhere the washroom. I would definitely stay here again cause I can’t afford anything else in the area.

This hotel is right in the middle of Temple Bar and you can easily walk to most of Dublin’s tourist attractions or take a bus. It has very comfortable bed, clean bathroom, linen. It’s a small room, but enough space for luggage. The hotel is on top of a bar so it can be noisy until about 23:00, and the rooms aren’t very sound proof - you can hear every time the lift arrives at the floor.

I’ll definitely come back here next time I’m in Dublin. The hotel staff is super accommodating and ready to help with any request. I arrived much earlier than check-in time, and they kept my bag while I walked around Temple Bar until check in. When I went back after 3, they had already left my bag in my room and had everything prepared for me to get settled in. The restaurant next door, O’Riordan, is very good and the live music is also very fun, you can access it from the hotel lobby, though the front door is right there as well. The staff also went above and beyond to help me solve a personal request.

Lovely, clean, and a handy location

We stayed at the Wellington Temple Bar for the tail end of our honeymoon, so we splurged for a room with a balcony. I emailed the hotel before we arrived to confirm, and upon arrival, they gave us the best corner room since it was our honeymoon! So sweet. The front desk folks were all very nice each day/night. Our room was beautiful, very clean, and I found the little drawer under the coffee shelf to be very handy for my makeup, jewelry, etc. Yes, it's Temple Bar, so there is noise, but we expected it and usually got back to the room during last call (or after) for the pub downstairs. We found the location to be very handy, with the Luas stop across the river and a couple of blocks up, and bus stops very close by. Again, so thankful for the sweet staff! We'll definitely stay here next time. Head down the street to Stage Door Cafe for breakfast if you do!

Great location, modern well designed room. Walk to all the historic sites, restaurants, and bars. We had a balcony overlooking the river, which was fantastic. The nearby bars can be noisy, so it’s good to bring your ear plugs.

The staff are very friendly, attentive, and informative. We struggled with the thermostat and someone came up within minutes to help. The room was perfect for my friend and I. Great staff at the front desk and attaches pub. I was on the 7th floor - you will hear music. I used ear plugs. That was my saving grace. Bed area was spacious. Bathroom not so much. No door on the shower so water does splash onto the floor. They provide filtered water. The blinds will block out the sun / outside lights. Great location. On the bus route. You can walk to majority of the main attractions in Dublin.

Fabulous hotel

We were three friend on a city break, we stayed in a triple room which was fabulous. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, coffee machine and kettle. The staff were really lovely and helpful in particular Shanna she was always smiley and nothing was too much trouble Having the bar downstairs was good and we were on the 5th floor and couldn’t hear anything from the bar or the street below We will definitely stay here again Thank you
