Shout out to Natalie! My sister’s wallet was pick pocketed at the Temple bar district. She was very kind assisting us. She even allowed us to use her cell phone to call the US embassy since she lost her passport. The hotel was very decent. Clean. I feel comfortable. But the room is affected with noise from the bar downstairs . That’s the only thing. But if you don’t mind the noise I recommend it. Please be careful guys. We thought Ireland is safe. But my sister was targeted.

Great location.

Hotel is in a perfect location. It does say that you will have bar noises at night but it does get quiet after midnight. I stayed here for one night but I would stay here again. Dublin Express is less than 10 minutes away.

Small, but lovely, right in the center of it all

The Wellington is right in the heart of Dublin's vibrant Temple Bar neighborhood. The hotel tells you there WILL be live music; they are not joking, and it WILL go on till 3 am. Ask for upper floors if that's a concern. (I note in passing that O'Riordan's, the hotel's pub, was quite good.) The rooms are small, as might be expected for a hotel in a historic district. Our King bed felt slightly shoehorned into the room we had -- no blame to the management, but it might make more sense to opt for two doubles so there's room to get in and out of bed for everyone. We had a lovely time there, and would not hesitate to return to the Wellington.

Just book it.

Amazing location iff the temple bar neighbourhood is where you want to be step outside of reception and the famous temple bar itself is there. Great hotel very clean staff very helpful. Even let us put our luggage in hotel 6 hours before check in without charge. Hotel is part of a very good vibrant bar and can be loud until late but who would stay in temple bar and expect it to be silent. We was on the 8th floor so didn’t really hear much but would imagine it would be loud on the 3rd floor where the rooms start.

This place is right in the middle of everything! We didn't have a car, but there were bus stops in every direction that made getting around Dublin (and to/from the airport) super easy. The rooms are small, but that didn't matter as we were out and about in Dublin all day. It was all we needed to shower and sleep. I am not sure if the pub downstairs was part of the hotel or if they just share a building...but it was phenomenal!! Breakfast was so good, and the people who worked there were fun, informative, and so nice! RIght on the river and close to shopping, eating, and drinking! Would definitely recommend!

The property is central to many tourist areas in Dublin specifically the Temple Bar area. The pub/restaurant in the hotel was great and the people working there were kind and helpful. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and it has AC which made the room comfortable. The room was smaller than expected and it was tight with luggage. The bed was also smaller than expected. We had a King bed but was not a King sized bed we are accustomed to in Canada. Overall we had a nice stay.
