Great stay for the price

All in all everything was really nice. Our only complaint would be that the person who checked us in really didnt seem to knowwhat she was doing. She popped our card twice for the $100 incidental hold. When we told her the next morning she promised to take one of them off and as of today 48 hours later its still on there. I just know this will be a hassel with my bank as it usually is.2ndly. The dont clean your room during an extended stay. We requested extra towels that never came. One night during our 4 night stay we asked for towels and were told all towels were dirty! We stay in hotels almost every weekend and have NEVER heard such a thing. Still aside from those few inconveniences breakfast was Great, the chef was super friendly. The room,bed and shower head was also awesome...really a nice facility.great price. It has that "nicer hotel" feel.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this place. Some previous reviews had me hesitant, but it was pretty damn awesome. I was given a corner room on the second floor which was super clean. The property was quiet, parking was ample, and the location was close to the highways making it easy to get around. I was not there in the mornings to check out the breakfast, so… My first morning, which was a Thursday, there was hot coffee available at 6:00am. On Friday and Saturday morning, there was NOT hot coffee available before I left the hotel at 7:00am (not sure why), but that’s my only complaint. Book with confidence. It’s a nice spot for a really great price.

We’ve been here before and it’s an ok place to stay but this time around, requested connecting rooms in advance and that request wasn’t fulfilled. Also they overcharged for the room deposit and couldn’t remedy that when brought to their attention. Hoping that gets taken care of automatically as the front desk staff have indicated. The Hub facility next door is pretty cool and Great Lakes Mall is only 10min away. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Would stay here again.

There were a lot of barking dogs- I’ve never seen so many dogs in a hotel! Multiple dogs were barking every time we were in the hallway and at 6:30am.. the pool didn’t have towels both times we were there and when we asked for bedding for the pullout couch- bc it was a bare mattress- they had a flat sheet and a blanket but no pillows or anything. Other than that- it was ok…..

Check-in was great. We actually had a pretty complicated scenario because I had booked two nights separately and paid for one in full, so I needed us to be able to remain in the same room etc… the check-in person was very “on the ball” and took care of this. The room was fine- spacious and a good layout. Only 2 towels though, and they knew we had 3 guests. It wasn’t a problem getting another one. Well-located hotel; easy parking, quick to get places (by car- there’s not too many places you can walk to). The pool area and breakfast is where there are issues here. I’m not sure why the hotel doesn’t have housekeeping on a schedule where they clean the pool area right after it closes at night. Both mornings we were there, the pool area was filthy- dirty towels everywhere, garbage not emptied, no clean towels. The pool opens at 7 so my daughter and I wanted to go swimming shortly after 7, and asking for a towel at the desk the response was “they’re just being cleaned” … meanwhile the dirty ones from last night are all over the deck, and the pool being opened in the morning should mean the housekeeping cycle had them cleaned. Breakfast is a mystery here. It’s supposed to be $5 pp, all you can eat, but the opening times really seem to vary. People were coming down expecting it to be ready, and it wasn’t, or there was some light items out (yogurt etc) but no hot food, it seems that everyone was told a different opening time. Charge more nightly and just include breakfast!

Nice atmosphere

Staff was great. Nice atmosphere. They even had a free spread of food-snacks the one night. My only complaint was the refridgerator in my room was so small and missing the shelves and the bars that hold things on the door, and had no freezer. Next to Impossible to put anything in. That was very disappointing as I was staying for a week.

Very nice place to stay and very nice staff. I enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but sadly had a few bugs on our bed, when I pulled back the bedding and flipped over the pillow, also found multiple hairs that did not belong to me. Other than those, enjoyed our stay.
