Perfect for a group or 2 families
Booked this duplex to accommodate a few friends, my partner, and a family member the week of a special event. The 2 units of the duplex are connected by a utility/laundry room. The doors to each unit can be locked to prevent access from the utility room, if you wish. Each side has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and living room with TV and streaming services. One side has TVs in bedrooms and the other does not. But the side without the TVs in bedrooms has more updated appliances and is a little bit larger (bigger bedrooms). The laundry room had a high chair and other child/baby items if you need. The backyard is large and has a fire pit, we didn't use it but we did buy extra wood since the host supply looked low.
Parking in either driveway, long driveway, so whoever is parked first is blocked in by the cars behind it, just need to plan ahead who needs to get out first.
Neighborhood is safe and within walking or short drive to stores, restaurants, etc.
About an hour from the DTW airport by car.
It was perfect for what we needed - the 2 units helped us be close to each other without feeling like we were on top of each other. Better than staying at a hotel - for the space that we needed.
