Hotels with a Gym in Maine

Room was spacious ( home away from home for sure!) and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and gave us great suggestions on where to eat since we were visiting! Will definitely come back if I ever visit Portland again.

Hotel is pretty much as advertised. Reasonably priced for an expensive city and had free parking and helpful staff. Decor is a bit outdated (room definitely could have done with a new mattress) and generally needs a lick of paint. Big complaint would be the AC in our room - it was easily in the 90s during our stay and the AC was making the situation worse. My other half was unable to sleep and had to take a 3am shower! She had to wet a washcloth with cold water and put it on her forehead to be semi-comfortable in the room. Should also note that we were up 3 flights of steep narrow stairs - completely fine if you are able (we were) but we did note that would be inaccessible for our older relatives. Additionally hotel is a good half an hour walk to the old port but this is obviously a trade-off for the price - uber/bus both easy to get close to town.
