Lovely hotel and spa. Staff really friendly throughout hotel and restaurants. Rooms modern and clean. Worth noting parking charges if not booking direct and no gym on site (some 3rd party sites say fitness suite )

Really lovely hotel with relaxed vibe. Best view from our room of lake & also from bar & restaurant. SPA was a lovely addition to our stay. All staff were attentive & friendly. We really enjoyed a 2 night break here.

Fabulous hotel with good rooms. The breakfast is fabulous - amazing choice of breakfast items. We had two evening meals at the hotel and these were great and good value. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Large car park round the back of the hotel which even boasts some of the wall from the fort on Hadrian's wall. Also there is a section of the wall in the hotel reception. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Carlisle.
