Hotels on the Lake in Alberta

We had such a wonderful stay at Fox Hotel & Suites. The entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, making us feel comfortable the moment we checked in. Our room was very clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after spending the day exploring Banff. One of our favorite parts was the hot pool area — such a great way to unwind and enjoy the mountain atmosphere. The hotel also had a warm and peaceful vibe that made our trip even more memorable. The location was very convenient and close to everything we wanted to see. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Banff!

⭐️ Very disappointing stay overall. The staff came across as dismissive and rude from the moment we arrived. We stood at the front counter waiting without even being acknowledged or greeted. Customer service was lacking throughout the stay. The room was also poorly prepared — there was no shampoo or basic bathroom amenities provided, and we had to go ask for them ourselves. The pool was out of order, which was frustrating, especially since nobody informed us ahead of time or during check-in. On top of that, the staff never explained where any of the hotel amenities were located, and we were never told about the $7 breakfast special either. Communication and hospitality were seriously lacking. Overall, the experience felt unwelcoming and disorganized. I would not stay here again.
