Great location, staff so friendly and can’t help you enough. Needs more sunloungers at pool and second pool doesn’t have any umbrellas at all. Rooms are very old and tired looking. Rooms could do with an upgrade.

We take note on your constructive feedback, We pleased to inform that we are on progress to upgrading our pool service and facilities, we have been partially replacing some of umbrella cover with better quality product which won’t fade for at least 5 years while long chair cushion covers have arrived partially. we would like to share that we do continually work on improvements to the Resort. We should have replaced all of the older mosaic shower tiles which gave old impression in the room. Now we put our efforts to repaint all of our guest room interiors and replacing all grouting for rooms that require it. I believe this will enhance our guest experience in our guestroom. Thank you very much for sharing your experience, I hope we could get another chance to welcome you back and show you all the improvements we have made by then. This is the second time we have stayed at Mercure Sanur and absolutely loved it. This would have to be our favourite Resort on Bali. It's very close the best part of the Beach with lots of Lounges to relax on and the Beach is not too deep (great for little one's) it's also just a short walk to the Restaurants and Shops and the locals are so friendly. The Resort itself has lovely open space Gardens with plenty of room. We didn't mind the Rooms, they aren't perfect but very comfortable and we felt at home.

Great hotel convenient location

Located on the beachfront made the Mercure an excellent spot for this lone travelled who didn’t want to venture too far. The shady beachfront walk is pleasant, a huge choice of nearby restaurants and a clean pool. Can’t ask for more - friendly staff, pleasant gardens and clean room. Perfect for a quick 3 day stop over.

Rooms need major renovation

We had read reviews on this hotel before booking, and majority mentioned that the rooms were old, but clean, and that the staff were all extremely friendly and majority seemed to enjoy their stay. We wanted to stay somewhere right on the beach so booked here. Unfortunately the rooms are in need of extreme makeover, especially the bathrooms. I did not feel comfortable using the bathroom. Yes the rooms are clean, but when something is that old you can't help but feel it's not clean. The grounds were disappointing as well. Bali is known for the beautiful gardens and meticulous upkeep. There were weeds growing in between pavers around the pool, and the gardens outside reception were not very nice either. It was a disappointing welcome and set the tone for the rest of the hotel. There was a grassed area outside our 'bungalow' which slightly dipped and it was flooded when we tried to walk across (feet sinking down into the water) and there was a very unpleasant smell. I was worried about this being an extra breeding ground for mosquitos too. We gave it a wide berth. Also - no satay on the menu at all! What is a stay in Bali without satay by the pool?? It all added up and we were not happy so checked out after the first night. When we checked we were not even asked if anything was the matter and why we were checking out after only 1 night. We ended up staying at the Swiss-Belresort and it was lovely and saved the holiday,

With regards of the room condition, we continually work in improving the Resort before resort refurbishment is taking place. Though having said this, our extensive internal maintenance programs should have replaced the older mosaic tiles in 52 rooms which look very dated and are hard to maintain. We have also changed nearly 20% of the Resorts bedrooms’ tiles over the last few months and more are being completed now. We will work diligently to do the best we can prior to any Resort Owner’s approval for refurbishment. We take note on your concern of our garden and addressed with our respected department for further action and improvement. Once again, your feedback is truly appreciated as it greatly supports us to serve better. We truly hope you will give us another opportunity to serve you better in the near future. Excellent location and facilities.

Lovely place with beautifully maintained gardens, great location, right on the beach. Place is little older, but maintained well, all staff were professional and always helpful. Great breakfast.

Excellent Resort, Very Happy.

Pros: Good Value. Very Nice.
Location: The Beach is on your Doorstep and only a short walk to the Shops.
We had a great stay at Mecure Resort. Friendly Staff. Lovely Gardens. Great Swimming Pools. Relaxing Atmosphere. Excellent Food. Nice Rooms. Great Location. I would recommend Mecure Resort for a lovely holiday.

Lovely relaxing hotel with friendly staff

Pros: The rooms were very clean, the pools were well maintained, the breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: There were rooms where there were tarps or fig trees growing in the roofs.
Location: Very quiet beach with all the activities available
We had 5 days and really enjoyed the experience. The room was comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the pools were clean. It was a great stay.

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date.
