Staff at Wyndham side was rude. I was trapped in elevator for 30 mins without any service on phones. No ac. Elevator help buttons didnt work. Never was told they were sorry. My kids (15 yrs old) found bed bug in sleeper sofa. They killed it. We kept it and i called in am to report it...btw...took me forever to get someone to answer my calls. Maintenance came up. Proceeds to examine it and room. Tellsme someone will "be in touch". I btw had to go downstairs hrs later to figure out what was going on. She tells me he didnt find any bed bugs when i actually produced it. He did find blood above headboard...not sure what that was about. He actually said. They didnt paint very well there. Back to the downstairs...she says we could probably move my room...This was the absolute worst stay ive ever had at the Oceanwalk. Mind you ive been staying here every year for 7 years. But i always book with private owners. When i checked in i was bombarded with them getting me to take a 90 minute tour. I said i was not interested. They proceeded to call me for 2 days all day long trying to convince me even after telling them no. Beware and do not book through Wyndham. Staff is rude and inconsiderate. Dont even try to voice concerns youll be told they need security. God forbid someone is a bit upset they were traumatized by being trapped in elevator or finding bedbugs. Dont believe ill ever return to Oceanwalk again. Oh and guy outside beach gate offered me meth. Make your own decision..
