Ocean View was nice, Check in staff not so nice quite rude. For a no smoking facility there was a lot of marijuana being smoked. Stayed 8days through the week was quite at night, on the weekend partying in rooms until well after 3:00 am security totally ignored the noise

There were some things that needed replacing in the room, like the broken door stop and the broken desk chair. The room door does not open all the way and was hard to open. The room was very loud when other guests were in the room above me or in the rooms next to me even though the guests themselves were not doing anything out of the ordinary.

This hotel was great for our family! We booked an ocean view room and it was excellent. The view was beautiful and it was quiet, despite being right above the parking lot and pool. The pool was nice and it was right on the beach which was fantastic. There’s a kiddie pool that our toddler loved. The only complaint we had was the breakfast was really not great. The food was Denny’s quality and small portions. When we booked, we paid the extra fee to have breakfast vouchers included each day. What the booking site didn’t tell us was that the voucher was only good for one breakfast menu item (the Basic Breakfast: egg, potatoes, toast, & fruit) which, after 7 days, was the last thing we wanted to eat. We thought the voucher was good for any item of our choice. Kids do eat free though, so that was nice.

1negative apple didn't spoil the whole bunch

Hotel is in the perfect location. Right on the beach. The patio/pool area is nice. Had live music nightly. And also has a separate kiddie pool which is nice! Food was good, especially the Carmel cheesecake. The rooms need some love, updating would be good. Especially the carpets. And have some modern charging areas. Some of the furniture has seen better days. The parking is tight trying to get to the upper level, but plenty to spare. But it's all about the view - ocean front was amazing! Everyone was nice and friendly except for the evening/night front desk representative, her name started with an N. She had no smile, looked annoyed at being there and having to talk to anyone. Was rude in any of her responses and when I asked about the additional charge she was rude in explaining it to me and told me to "check your phone receipt since you booked thru a 3rd party" - shouldn't matter how I booked, be glad I booked there, period. I asked again when I checked out since it was a different person and he was awesome! Explained things no problem, without question and offered a receipt as well. The Asst Mgr. Donald is awesome too! Tried to upload pics but it wouldn't let me.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were all very helpful and courteous. We needed a couple repairs in the room and we frequently had to ask the front desk for towels and toilet paper and our room was kind of down a dark hallway and it gave a dungeon feeling , but the room was nice. we would stay again and recommend it to others , just request a higher room so you dont get the one in the dungeon .
