Driftwood motel. No issue with room or staff. This motel does not have an elevator to get to the upper floors, you will walk flights of stairs (we ended up on the third floor, even with handicap request). Location is beautiful, right on the beach, the view from the room is outstanding. Be aware that not all rooms have a balcony to watch the sun come up. With the lack of an elevator, I'm not planning on staying there again.

The staff was excellent! We truly enjoyed our time there and I’ve already booked for next year. Basic amenities, and slightly dated, however it is well kept and doesn’t try to hide anything. It is just steps from the beach, and close to many bars and restaurants. My wife and I loved our time there. I would have given 5 stars but the parking situation can get a bit precarious. We had to park across the street the only night it rained, ha ha. No biggie.

Ac was broken and they fixed the situation really fast. Super friendly staff. The place needs some updates they should get new covers for the beds and they do not provide a hair dryer. Great location, it sits right on the beach

Room was old and need updates. the staffs was very nice . the Motel has 40 rooms and only 18 packing spaces if you are late get back to your room you have to find a parking space on the street

The toilet did not flush. I had to use a plunger every time I went to the restroom. If you don’t get a balcony of view, you’re looking at a wall thankfully, I did have one the screen was out of the window, and I probably would never stay there again.

For the price, you get a comfortable room that does exactly what it needs to do—plus an ocean view on top of that. One of the highlights was being able to step straight out from my room and enjoy a morning run on the beach. That alone made the stay worth it.

Front desk was very moody and had an attitude everytime communication happened. Not very eager to help guest. Ended up adding days and ended up staying three nights asked for towels and never got them so in 3 days no clean towels were giving other then what was there at very beginning. Stayed here a lot and this has been the only bad experience main issue was staff at desk

The front desk was moody and not very approachable. We added on two nights and both times it was completely uncomfortable dealing with front desk. We were there three nights and didn’t get clean towels throughout the stay. No housekeeping what so ever. The price was higher than usual and service was not good. Dryer was out of commission as well. Only hotel to charge for our service dog staying $28 a night non refundable
