I expected at least a safe environment for the amount they wanted to charge. We pulled into the parking lot and turned around and left. Sadly I didnt do my research to figure out what type of establishment this was. My advice is to look elsewhere for a place without drug deals going on in the parking lot.

Microtel in Dayton

Through a mix up from the front desk, we were given room 120 but entered on the check in computer as room 102. Our room was then given to another guest who entered our room (but quickly left, after seeing us). The front desk clerk also entered our room (with out knocking) to confirm that our room was occupied. Unacceptable. The hotel lot had tall grass, and garbage was strewn about. No pride in the upkeep. Nil. The hotel has a tired look to it, it is over due for a refresh. On another note, the morning front desk crew were pleasant and polite. If you're travelling through Dayton, give the Microtel a pass.

It wasn't horrible. Apparently hotels don't do roll in beds anymore, I wanted to pay for one. Fixtures replaced recently and don't fit and match the ancient laminate counters. The ridiculous led lights in the recessed lighting, good lord.

The room was listed it would sleep 5 people. It had 2 queen beds and then a sitting bench above the AC unit by the window. There were no extra pillows or sheets to use that as a bed. #2 it was only a dense pad, not comfortable. #3 All you hear and feel is the buzzing of the AC unit running. Nice room for 4 people, but not 5.
