Low cost but so-so experience

It had a nice room size and furnitures. A/c and heater worked great. But the bed sheet and blankets were very old and dirty looking. It was wairde the man passed you the shower towels when you checked in, aren't they supposed to be stocked in the shower room? The breakfast was a very simple one.

Bad service

During check-in, they handed us the towels. When we went up to the room, we found that the beds had been used, the room hadn’t been cleaned, and the sink was clogged and dirty. We went downstairs, explained the situation, and requested a new room, which they provided. We went back upstairs and entered the new room; however, the situation was the same. There was even a pair of shoes inside, and the beds had human feces stains. We called the staff up again and showed them. They said they would give us a new room, wouldn’t charge us for the stay, and would rectify the situation; however, I haven’t received a refund yet. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I believe Hotels.com should monitor such establishments.

Property needs much upkeep. Repairs done, floors showing damage, carpets need cleaned. Room was relatively clean. No towels in the rooms, they handed them to us at check-in, and they were stained, not crisp white anymore. Limited breakfast during the week, 1 cereal and white bread. Morning staff not very friendly.

Not just dirty, but dangerous. There was no accessible emergency exit door on one end of the building. The door was locked and could not be opened from the inside. Only cold breakfast. Our room was next to housekeeping and there was a leak that resulted in a case of our belongings getting soaking wet.

Some rooms are in very bad shape and smells cigarette. The overall condition of the hotel is bad too. Things are falling apart. The staff is nice and accommodated is in different rooms.

Surprised when checking in that our room towels were handed to us to carry to our room. We already had hands full with our own belongings. No pool towels available, although the pool was FREEZING and NO ONE swam while we were there. Rooms and carpet not clean. We were there two nights and the breakfast was exactly the same on Saturday and Sunday, even though we were told it offered different items each day.

The lobby and hallways were rather gross and very unclean. Our room did feel fairly clean, but the bathroom smelled like smoke and the room felt over-used (lumpy pillows, old furniture).

We will be going back!

When we showed up to check in the gentleman said that there are kids there so he will put us on the top floor so we dont hear the kids playing in the pool. We appreciated the thought and enjoyed our stay.
