This is not BWplus service!

Hot tub filled with cement. Breakfast was gone by 845an, served until 930am. Ceiling damage in room. Curtains has sprayed white something on them. Key cards deactivated at 1030, checkout is 11. Very hard to get everything out. I am handicapped and had to go way around to get in. Floors and elevators we just mopped and slippery, before checkout time. No signs about wet floors. Discrimate against older/handicapped guests. Very disappointed, this is supposed to be a Best Western Plus.

So so breakfast

The room was nice it's the one we stayed in most of the time. Breakfast wasn't as good as it used to be. The sausage gravy had a terrible taste.We thought there would be bacon but they said that it switched up daily and also there were no pancake machines this time. No fresh fruit no yogurt in the little refrigerator.

Nice, clean room. Comfortable beds. Typical hotel breakfast. The pool area looked clean (we did not use it). Staff was friendly and welcoming.

I liked the location. All the machines in fitness gym were broken or didn't function properly and no notes indicating out of service. The cold water in fitness area didnt work. There were no towels in fitness area. The entry door in southwest corner slams shut. There were many times people came in and out in the middle of the night making it difficult to sleep. The breakfast items didnt get replenished regulary. There was no meat or bananas for breakfast. Not many healthy options. They did have free hot chocolate.

I searched for days to find a hotel for 1 night for me, my mom, and my 2 yr old grand daughter. I wanted both an indoor pool and a jetted tub in our room, ALL for my grand daughter to have as much fun as possible. This place appeared to accommodate all my needs per pics and description, but I was very wrong. To start I recommend removing the pool completely because it is not usable at all. The water was freezing cold and there were dead flies and ants floating all over it. My poor grand daughter was so upset, crying because we could not swim. The room itself was absolutely filthy, has not been dusted in at least a year, and the phone we were supposed to use to communicate with the front desk had buttons so sticky we could not punch numbers in, not usable at all. I tried calling the front desk from my cell phone several times to discuss my concerns, but after 5 attempts where it just rang and rang, I was forced to physically walk the phone down there in person. I was expecting it to be busy with a line of customers, or to at least see the clerk on the phone assisting someone since my calls went unanswered but there was no one else there and after the treatment I received I would assume they are glad no one else witnessed it! The response I got was very nonchalant, I was treated like I was the problem, a nag over reacting, absolutely no urgency to assist me or improve my stay in any way. An “we are sorry” is not enough at this point. I warn others-DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Service was awful! To get a table by the pool they wanted to charge us $250 for a table! Thanks to Zeke’s bar and grill for helping us out! We will never go back to steeplegate again after years of celebrating birthdays there! But we will be going to Zeke’s!!

The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable The toilet had a seal leak in the tank. So it was refilling with water every 15 to 20 min. We didn’t realize this until we got back to the room later about 10pm. Over all the stay was good.

Pool was unusable due to the fact the pool area was freezing because they had a window open. The room was dirty, wallpaper coming off the walls and tub had grim and dirt. Several people were there to use the pool and couldn’t.

Pictures make it look way nicer than it really is. Layout is a little different but with the open concourse, it made for a louder/echoey visit. Our room furnace was terribly loud and had it not been 11pm when we noticed it, we would’ve asked for a different room. Had to use ear plugs to somewhat block out the noise but the fan on it sounded like rain or hail falling on a tin roof and we could not turn the fan feature off. Old furniture and lamps where the bulbs we barely hanging on in the socket of the lamp. We really just needed the room to sleep and leave so it worked for that.

Missing ceiling tiles in the hall with exposed wires and pipes. Smoke detector was missing from another family members room with wires hanging out where it should have been mounted. Pool was cold and cloudy with debris floating in it. Party was being thrown in the area around the pool with guests screaming ans running around until 12:30am. No attempts were made to enforce quiet hours or contain the issue.
