Stayed as part of a business trip as usual hotel was full. Hotel a bit tired and of average quality. Rooms need redecoration as does the hotel itself but perfectly clean and adequate for a no frills stopover. Breakfast was nice however.

Room was average, ive slept on a more comfortable sheet of ply than the mattress in the room, tap in the basin was loose and hard to adjust. No milk left on the second night. only marginally better than the travel lodge down the road.

Parking on site is a plus. Cute hotel. A little outdated but very clean. Checking in was a breeze, nice lady at front desk. We had a drink at bar and appetizer from restaurant. Very good service and food. Breakfast was good in morning. Overall, nice stay and would return again.

Disappointing room

Service was excellent, but the room was a little tired. The main issue that we had with the room was that the walls were very thin, and we could hear everything in the room next door. The person staying there was coughing loudly all night, as well as making several bathroom visits. We do not need to hear all of this.

Stayed here a few times before. Always do a late checkout and normallh charged £20 for this. However this time not so great. Arrived at 3pm to be told room not ready and its £50 for late checkout. The room was only £57 to book so thag charge seemed excessive. They had no payment record from my booking so wanted me to pay again until i was showing them my payment online. Finally managed to check in 45mins late only after checking with reception and getting a different room. I think i got the bad room guests who complain get as it was right on the corner next to the stairs so could hear people all evening and early morning. Only 1 towel in bathroom. Breakfast was pretty bad for £14. One sausage, one piece of bacon, half a tomato, beans and 1 egg. Probably wont be back now which is a shame as ive stayed here 3 times.

Really uncomfortable nights sleep

Have stayed here many times. Booked an executive room which was no different from other rooms, table and two chairs rather than comfy chairs. No water or biscuits in the room. But the mattress was the worst thing, so hard and uncomfortable - any time either of us moved the whole bed creaked and groaned.
