Receptionist wasn't particularly helpful on arrival. Arrived at 7pm and told the pool and restaurant both shut at 8.30pm. Room was large but bathroom was small and dangerous getting in/out of the shower as a result. Food was good in the restaurant however. I don't think this is suitable for business travel unless there is an event taking place.

Staff were friendly and efficient. The room itself was nice, bit on the basic rather than luxury end. The main cleanliness issue was the bathroom where the floor clearly hasn't been hoovered or mopped in a while. We chose it due to the pool area, which had good upkeep but it was busy including with noisy kids jumping in which made it less relaxing. Overall good but won't be back

Staff very good 👍 A wedding was taking place so very loud to the early hours .. to be expected however … was not made aware when booked ? Although the room was ok the bed was uncomfortable and low quality pillows .. they could be upgraded .. the room rate didn’t really meet expectation .. for a deluxe room complimentary water would be a nice touch !!

Slight disappointment when we arrived after a 4 hour drive, receptionist not friendly or welcoming! Room was ok but lots of cobwebs and still had glitter on the floor from previous stay. Room was near the linen cupboard so lots of banging around early in the morning! Grounds are beautiful. Fab breakfast. With a warmer welcome and higher standards of cleanliness could be a fantastic place to stay

Lovely hotel but private party kept us awake

The room and facilities were really clean and in great condition. However there was a party at the hotel the evening we stayed and it was incredibly loud into the early hours. It was not so much the music but the constant voices of the guests that kept us awake. The function room is very close to all of the bedrooms. Had we have been notified of the party we would have stayed somewhere else. My advice would be to double check whether there is an event on before booking.
